Application expert

As an Application Expert, you will, together with the account manager, be responsible for establishing and supporting both new and existing customers. Today, a large focus is on nurseries in the forestry sector, but our plan is to grow also in other sectors. Together with our sales staff, you will be on site at our customers and perform situation analysis and recommend measures for improving cultivation results. You will work closely with customers in implementation of our solutions and follow-up during the season to ensure the best possible results. The role also includes being part of our product development by being the link between the customers and our R&D team.

The role is based in Umeå. Arevo is located, with both production and lab operations, in modern facilities in Umeå. The position involves some travel, primarily to the Nordic countries, but may later also include Europe. If necessary, opportunities are given to work remotely.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe that you have education in forestry, agronomy or a related field as well as a few years of experience in plant production or other relevant experience from commercial cultivation on a large scale. You have knowledge of plant nutrition, especially in production of forest seedlings. The role requires both spoken and written fluency in Swedish and English.

You have a practical and solution-oriented mindset and enjoy working in an advisory and supportive manner according to the customer's needs. You are interested in and have the ability to perform situation analysis as well as analyze and interpret data. You have a structured way of working and competence in the Microsoft Office package.
