Arevo is based on ground-breaking and award-winning research on plant nutrient uptake from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The technology makes plants better at absorbing nutrients and water from the soil without the negative side effects associated with mineral fertilizers, such as nitrogen loss and degraded soils. The result is more robust plants that grow better, with minimal environmental impact.

Arevo AB was formed in 2015 as a spin-off from SweeTree Technologies. The main owners are Fort Knox, Navigare Ventures, Industrifonden, Stora Enso, Stiftelsen J C Kempe minne, Sveaskog, SweTree Technologies and SLU Holding.
