Crop / Nutrition Formulation Scientist

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Crop/Formulation Scientist to lead our seed coating unit.

Key activities

• Leading the development of eco-friendly, biodegradable seed filmcoating formulations and integrating advanced technologies (e.g., controlled-release nutrients, microbial inoculants) while ensuring regulatory compliance and seed safety.
• Identifying and testing plastic-free polymers, binders, and active ingredients to ensure strong adhesion, controlled nutrient release, and compatibility with different seed types.
• Conducting physical and chemical tests to evaluate quality, efficacy and overall product performance under real-world conditions.
• Ensuring formulations meet agricultural standards, environmental regulations, and maintain seed health without toxicity or negative interactions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plant Science, or a related field with a focus on plant nutrition or seed technology.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in developing seed coating formulations, working with polymers, binders, micronutrients, and controlled-release technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex projects, with excellent organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of successful product launches and experience in project management.
• Strong inner drive to find solutions that contribute to a greener future.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teams.
