Greenhouse Assistant

Arevo is developing sustainable plant nutrition for the agricultural sector. Our portfolio includes everything from environmentally friendly biostimulants to organo-mineral-based plant nutrition. Our mission is to work on solutions that have a real beneficial impact on our soils, our crops, and our health—without negative side effects on the environment!

We have just built our own greenhouse and for our future journey, we are looking for a plant enthusiast to complement our dynamic, motivated, and international team. 

Key activities

  • Watering greenhouse plants during weekends and holidays
  • Maintenance of the greenhouse, including cleaning and pest management
  • Assisting with sowing, potting, harvesting, and other greenhouse duties
  • Assisting with measurements and assessments of greenhouse plants, such as weight recording and length measurements
  • Assisting with trial preparation, such as preparing products, labels, substrate, etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience from growing plants, preferably from a greenhouse setting
  • Motivated, curious, and passionate with an interest in plants and sustainable cultivation
  • Team player who enjoys taking initiative
  • Ability to work independently
  • Creative, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Ability to lift heavy items due to physically demanding work
  • Experience in handling products and plant materials in a lab is a plus
  • Ideally, familiarity with plants and experience working with a diverse array of plant species
  • Experience from growing plants using various types of substrates is a plus

Some travel may occur in connection with field studies and therefore a driver's license is a requirement.
