Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager for Plant Nutrition Development to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead the development of novel plant nutrition products, leveraging expertise in chemistry, plant nutrition, and industrial processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep chemical understanding of plant nutrition formulations, in specific organo-mineral interactions, phosphate and metal chemistry, as well as amino acid properties.

Key activities:

  • Product Development of Novel Plant Nutrition: Support product development, perform small-scale production of new formulations in laboratory settings, monitor product quality and analyze the chemical composition and properties of raw materials and finished products.
  • Formulation Expertise: Design and optimize nutrient combinations tailored to specific plant nutrition needs, ensuring efficacy and environmental sustainability.
  • Data Analysis and Calculations: Perform detailed nutrient calculations to determine precise nutrient ratios and delivery mechanisms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure project alignment with company goals. Assist in training of the RnD team and assist with product certification. Aid transition of small-scale production to large-scale manufacturing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all formulations and processes meet industry standards and environmental regulations.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects within specified timelines and budgets, delivering results that align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, or a related field (M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred).
  • Industry Experience: Experience in plant nutrient development or a related industry, with a proven track record of managing successful projects is a merit.
  • Technical Skills: 
    o    Expertise in designing and optimizing nutrient combinations tailored to plant growth and soil health.
    o    Proficiency in calculating precise ratios and dosages of macro- and micronutrients for various fertilizer applications.
    o    Strong understanding of plant physiology, nutrient uptake mechanisms, and their role in sustainable agriculture are beneficial.
    o    Familiarity with soil nutrient dynamics, pH interactions, and the impact of plant nutrients on soil health.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with excellent organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    o    Strong inner drive of finding solutions that contribute to a greener future.
    o    Strong communication and leadership abilities.
    o    Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across diverse teams.

The role requires strong English language skills, both verbal and written, as well as familiarity with the Office suite.
